These words- “Bringing Ease of Movement & Elegance to You”- are the values that inspire the designs of Grace by Marje. They are my mantra when I sit down to sketch out a new idea. When you adorn yourself with jewellery, each piece should enhance your sense of calm and inspire you whether it be a casual walk in the park or a special evening out.
I grew up in the Estonian countryside. My very first “design project”, as a young girl, was gathering flowers from the fields around my home. I would create mini-bunches that I would then transport to Tallinn for sale near the central railway station. In fact, I still love to buy different seasonal flowers each week and make my own bouquets and arrangements for our home.
I’ve been an entrepreneur for more than twelve years and my business passions have always been largely in harmony with lifestyle businesses in interior design, international cuisine, art, travel, cosmetics, haute couture (and, let’s face it, clothing in general, and handcrafted artisanal works. These life experiences and interests are the genesis of Grace by Marje.
I spent five years of my life as the exclusive Baltic distributor of Thann Natural Home Spa & Wellness from Thailand. I admired the natural ingredients, the sensitive awareness of the brand owner, Tony, and the passion that he brought (and still brings) to his botanical products. That still resonates with me today.
Nature, the flow of the seasons, and earth’s resources energize my work. I adore pearls, silver and white gold. They harness my exclusive collection: the Timeless Line. For my handcrafted pieces, I unite those elements with individually selected sets of precious and semi-precious stones from around the globe, each of which have their own meaning and benefit.
